About MYAI
A studio that makes rings slowly
MYAI is short for hand-made + your initials + I. It sounds like the end of a sentence, and also like a person confirming their own name.
We do not work for quantity. A small number of rings are made at a time, surfaces are checked in changing light, and before a ring is finished we try it on our own fingers again and again. We want rings that are not bought and forgotten, but worn daily and still noticed.
What we believe
Honest materials
No plated metal sold as solid silver, and no hiding how a metal will oxidize over time.
Marks are kept
Seams and hammer marks stay visible so every ring can be recognized as handmade.
Wear comes first
Comfort, edges and roundness are decided before a ring only needs to look good.
Fewer, longer
We make fewer rings and give attention to people willing to wait for them.
